Last Friday, just before the typhoon Frank totally went to the Phillipines, my housemate friend forgot to close one of the many windows upstairs. I was not home during that time, i was currently on duty at work so whatever happened was not really clear to me.
That open window tempted my cat, Kuking to go climb the window and roam outside. Here is the thing, Kuking is not used to the outdoors, being our baby for a year. Another thing, we are also new in that subdivision.
Funny but, like all cats, she is not that friendly to people. In fact, she despises men (delivery men, that is) and the sounds of tricycles. Whenever she is scared, she just hides. No sound whatsover will be heard from her. I am getting worried because it has been 5 days since she left. With no food nor proper shelter, even a good bed and clean space to walk over. The hardest part is that she seemed to have disappeared without any traces. My other friend and I tried looking for her, calling her name while roaming the nearby streets to no avail. We did see some cats but then, they were not kuking and it would be hopeless for us to ask them one by one to check if they did see her. 🙂
Here I am, still waiting for her to return, her babies were left with us but then, it does not seem complete if she is not there. I am more than willing to look for her no matter what it takes.

I started working as a technical support representative wherein I am one of the agents who are taking in calls and are providing a world class technical support for customers calling in for problems with their networking devices. Of course, the sooner you resolve the request, the better. I found out later on that its not always the fact. It would really depend on the complexity of the problem and the manner the problem is delivered.
Not all of us are very good at describing the problem, sometimes, I feel as if I am not explaining it right either. Good thing some technicians are good at analyzing what the problems are. It is also better if they would be able to suggest something or actually resolve the problem.
I have heard of a new support center called Supportrix. They are actually a group of technical support engineers who cater to different technical support concerns. They do have a website of the supported device and as far as I could tell, the fees that they have are minimal and competitive compared to other technical support. I have personally tried it (I got a free incident call) and was satisfied with the result. I got my device working and they even suggested a few things that i could do to maximize the benefits of my laptop ( I am particularly trained with one brand only when I was working as a tech support before, so my knowledge is quite limited when it comes to other brands).
Maybe you guys could try it, check out their website and know more about them.

I missed my page!
It has been a while since my last post. I kind of missed writing and my page. Just an update, i wasn’t able to finish completing my page yet, and i am kind of frustrated already. I also lost my connection, I have no internet since Friday, making it 3 days today. A bummer. Good thing that internet is still available in the office.

The QA family went to Star City!
Ok, so it’s not the most exciting thing that could happen to someone. It’s just that when you are a QA staff, it is a very rare case that everyone will get to be together and enjoy the evening. Let alone enjoy it on a theme park.
We rode most of the rides that we could handle (we even went back for a second round.. hahaha..) and entered most of the horror simulations there were (remember bahay ng lagim, dungeon, and kilabot ng mummy?). Funny thing was, even if the rides are not all that scary, and the attractions are not that attractive, I almost had gas pains from laughing so hard. Maybe because I was just so happy and excited about going there (can you tell if it was my first time?) or it could be that we were all just there, forgetting about the work and enjoying ourselves. Either way, it was a fun night. Definitely worth telling everybody. 🙂

A person visited the government matchmaker for marriage (SDU) and requested, “I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a suitable one.” The SDU officer said, “Your requirements, please.” “Oh, good looking, polite, humorous, sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing, willing to accompany me the whole day at home during my leisure hour, if I don’t go out. Telling me interesting stories when I need companion for conversation and be silent when I want to rest.” The officer listened carefully and replied, “I understand you need television.”
There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband, because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. Then the nightmare begins.
PERFECT RELATIONSHIP = BLIND WIFE + DEAF HUSBAND
This is from an email sent to me by a friend. It is funny that this is usually the connotation for a perfect marriage. Though I can’t help thinking that somehow this has a lot of truth in it. Patience, understanding, and respect should come in. Any thoughts on this are very much welcome.
